About us

We are Muslims beloning to the Ahl al-Sunna. Because of the propaganda started by the Barelwis, especially against the scholars of Deoband, we thought it was necessary to educate the masses about the true colours of the Barelwis.

This blog was set up in order to refute the false beliefs of the Barelwi movement. It also addresses the false accusations of Mawlana Ahmad Raza Khan and his followers.

  2. Murtaza Khan says:

    Assalamu Alaikum.

May Allah reward you greatly for creating this blog in defence of our ulema and exposing the lies of ahlul bida.

We need more english sites/blogs like this because most of the information is in urdu and not everyone’s first language is urdu.

  3. Abdul Mustafa says:

May you burn in hell for eternity with your father, Shaitaan and your Kaafir brothers Thanvi, Nanotwi and Gangohi. You will pay for leading the Muslims astray and for your filth you have written in this toilet you call a blog!

    • You have shown what kind of deen you are following. A lot of barelwis are famous for these manners and I can easily say, inshAllah, because of many such experiences from barelwis, that it shows the true colors of barelwism itself. The best way to understand what kind of character these guys seem to possess.

jazaakAllahu khaira to the blogger for the good step of not moderating this comment. Its in front of everyone to see.

      • Adam says:

Fair point. But I also agree with Hussein below. Using ‘Shameless’ next to the name of a man so revered by Baraelwis gives the appearance of personal malice on the part of the blogger – as opposed to presentation of the truth.

  4. HIDAYATULLAH SHAH says:

Is it mandatory in Islam to beieve whether prophet is hazir and nazir or he has knowledg of each and every thing or does not know anythingor whether he is bashar or noor.WILL THESE QUESTIONS BE ASKLED ON THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT.

    Assalamualikum;

Appreciate your work however, would you expand your blog inorder to refute the below barelwi link ?

    http://salafiaqeedah.blogspot.in/2011/06/conversation-between-mr-h-and-mr-y-part.html

    JazakAllahuKhair.

    • Syed Muhammad Ukasha says:

      1) On the link you mentioned, the so called sunnis (Barelwis) accused Fayd al-Bari, the book that was praised by Imam Zahid al-Kawthari. On another link ( see below ), they praised al-Kawthari. So, Kawthari praised kufr (Fayd al-Bari) and these authors of the above mentioned link praised al-Kawthari. So, these authors praised the one who praises kufr. Obviously, they are themselves Kafir Now by praising a Kafir (Imam Zahid al-Kawthari rahimullah).

      http://salafiaqeedah.blogspot.com/2012/11/why-do-arab-scholars-praise-deobandis.html

      2) These authors accused Juhd al-Muqil of Shaykh al-Hind of Kufr. However, this work was praised by Uthman Nabulusi and Shaykh Lu’ay. And a Barelwi named Abdur Rahman, (on Facebook) qouted Shaykh Uthman Nabulusi and praised him. So, this Barelwi is also a Kafir now.

  6. Abdullah says:

    Wa alaykumussalaam,

Most of the points raised in the link are already addressed on this blog. Check it out in the categories. Some of them are outright lies and fabrications too.

  7. Asim says:

    Assalamu alikum

Ahmad Yaar Khan quoted in his book ja al-Haq
AlIama Haskfi رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہwrites يا حاضر يا ناظر ليس يكفر
“To say, “0 Haazir, 0 Naazir,’ is not infidelity (kufr).” Durre-Mukhtaar, Vol 3. Baabul-Murtad

Can you please respond the above quote? Ahmad Yaar also quoted

It is mentioned in Radd al Mukhtar
“The just statement about this is what Imaam Nasafi رضی اللہ تعالٰی عنہ has said. He was asked, “Is it allowed to say that the Kaaba went to visit one SaintT” He answered, “The AhIe-Sunnah wal-Jamaat believe miracles (karaamats) by the Saints that defy normality to be correct(end)

So brelvis say when hanafi fatawa says that it is not kufr then who are you to say this? GF Haddad said

“The next step is to verify the main reference-books in the Hanafi madhhab in our time, which is not the Qadi Khan nor the Fatawa Bazzaziyya nor `Umdat al-Qari nor Sharh al-Fiqh al-Akbar nor the Musayara [the last three are not even books of Hanafi fiqh] nor the other, more minor works quoted, but the Hidaya of al-Haskafi and the Hashiya of Ibn `Abidin where he says: [3:27-28=2:283-284]:

“The compiler said in the Tatarkhaniyya and the Hujja: ‘It was mentioned in al-Multaqat that the person [who says that] does not commit kufr, because things are shown to the soul of the Prophet….(end)

He denied all the books of fatawa because they denied the aqeedah of Hazir Nazir. How can we respond to these quotes mentioned in Radd al-Mukhtar

  8. ألف باحث عن الحقيقة says:

I am so delighted that i discovered your blog as i thought there was no person in favour of Darul uloom Deoband who had any self respect and self dignity to clearly speak out against the barelvis and their corrupted shirk and kufr. Allah reward you for your efforts.Ameen

Ýou should try to make the entire world aware of this blog so that they may be aware of the corrupted barelvi sect inshaAllah!

  9. Abdullah says:

    As Salaamu Alaykum
I just came across this blog, Alhamdulillah I want to thank you very much for your efforts, May Allah reward you for fighting for the truth, please carry on with this work
There needs to be a detailed refutation of the misinformed claims that the Barelwiyyah make against us. One Ajeeb thing is that our brothers of the Barelwiyyah sect are always doing Takfir on us Deobandis, calling us the ‘Indian Wahhabis’ etc, I do not see the point of bringing disunity in the Ummah like they do, they always insult the Mashaikh of Deoband.
Anyway please carry on with your humble efforts, May Allah make you a means of Hidayah, and grant you succeess. Ameen

  10. Hussein says:

    Assalam brother…

It is a very good initiative. But you should change the title of Shameless to Maulana. The Maslak of Deoband was not to use these sort of titles. Even Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanwi rahimahullah would use Maulana for Amad Ridha Khan. Allamah Khalid Mahmud also says to mention Maulana.

Carry on with your sincere effort. May Allah reward you.

  11. M.E. says:

Salaam ‘aleikum. What is the Deobandi stance on this article: http://www.livingislam.org/fiqhi/fiqha_e30.html. jazakAllah khair.

  12. Hussein says:

Kindly refer to : https://barelwism.wordpress.com/2012/04/20/translation-of-nur-wa-bashar/ to know Ahlus Sunnah stance of the hadith cited…

  13. furqan ahmad says:

    Dr Furqan Ahmad.

  15. Mukhtar says:

    9Peace,

I do not adhere to the berelwi school nor to the Deoband, both have their indecencies and intolerences and sometimes deep hypocricy in thier beliefs but more importantly their followers.

Nevertheless I wanted to do a little test to see a small truth. I went into the masjids at their madressa times and asked one simply question; ‘If you had two cups of water, one of which if you drank you would have all knowledge, the other you would have sincerely and completely the Love of the Prophet salalaho alaihi wa ala aalihi wasalim, which ONE cup would you chose.’

All of the deoband students/children chose the knowledge whereas the berelwi chose the Love. To me this represented the difference. We know the ahadith on this issue, belief is only true/complete with Love of Him, salalaho alaihi wa ala aalihi wasalim. Food for thought.

Also as advise, instead of all this time used in creating this hate filled blog, read salawat. Just work to praise Him, salalaho alaihi wa ala aalihi wasalim, He salalaho alaihi wa ala aalihi wasalim is the One to be Praised. Before you attack certain peoples beliefs go to people like Imam alBusiri, Nabhani, Alusi, Sayyid Alawi alMakki, and on and on.. who all believed in the exapnsive knowledge of the Rasul salalaho alaihi wa ala aalihi wasalim, who celebrated the Mawlid and lots more similar to he berelwis but less indo pak style more Arabicised.

    Faithfully

    Mukhtar

    • Igloo says:

Perhaps you have missed the wisdom of the replies the Deobandi’s gave you. Someone with complete love of Rasulullah could still be deeply ignorant of his faith. Someone with all knowledge would have the means to love Rasulullah perfectly without falling into the error. The purpose of creation is to worship Allah. Love of the Leader of Mankind, whilst critical, is part of a comprehensive set of duties, responsibilities and opportunities for nearness to Allah.

In one Barailwi masjid in Blackburn (UK) I saw written in Arabic “nahno ‘ibaadu Muhammad” meaning we are the servants/worshippers of Muhammad. I believe they meant to use the word ‘ibaad to mean servants, but it is interesting that they used a word (‘ibaad) which is used throughout the Quran and the Sunnah to mean ‘worshipper’. There is also hadeeth advising people not to call their slaves ‘ibaad. I am sure Deobandi’s love their Rasul, but they are perhaps more focussed on the advice of Rasulullah not to praise him excessively in the way Isa ibn Maryam (A.S) was praised.

      Allah knows best

      • Muhammad Wasim Arif says:

Please be careful before you say anything, a little bit research will help. The word ibadi is used in the quran for the Beloved Prophet (Peace be Upon Him). He is ordered by Almight Allah to refer to his companions as Ibaadi (My Slaves). Check for your self Surah Az Zumar..

        Az-Zumar : 53.

So, knowledge leads to Love of the Prophet, okay then there are how many people that got misguided whilst they had extreme knowledge, lets not mention anyone, just look at iblis,…

Love of the Prophet is thousand and thousand times better than any knowledge. Infact it is his love that should inspire the seeking of knowledge. That was the wisdom in the Barelwi choice :).

Jannat me Leke Jayegi Chahat Rasul Ki…Ham hain Rasul e Pak ke Jannat Rasul ki (Peace be Upon Him)

        ~A Barelwi Brother~

      • IGLOO says:

Wasim, jazakAllah khair for your reply and your advice to be careful – this is Deen and as such great care needs to be taken. I want to understand what you are saying. I have two things I am unsure about. I know the ayah but have never considered it from the perpective you present.

Firstly are you saying that the Prophet SAW used to refer to the sahaabah RA as his ibaad? Is there anything in the sources where he SAW is recorded calling the sahaabah RA his ibaad? Or a tafseer where it is explained thus. Secondly are you agreeing with me that a Barelawi who calls himself ibaad-rasul DOES NOT mean identify himself as a worshipper of RasulAllah SAW?

  16. Abdullah says:

Mukhtar, you are an unreliable narrator. Do you have a recording of the precise question you asked with the reply of the children? You should have posed the following question:

If you had in one cup, the right knowledge regarding the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) with full respect and love for him without any excess, and in the other cup you had “love” mixed with filth such as the aqida of haadir naazir, mukhtar al-kull, kull ilm al-ghayb, and literally light, which one would you choose?

    • IGLOO says:

Please, when you mention RasulAllah SAW don’t use derogatory language. Whatever your disagreement with someone remember whom you are discussing. I don’t feel it appropriate or in any way necessary to use base words in the conversation. Argue in way that is better…

  17. sam says:

Deobandies only exist in India..no where else..says a lot about them.

  18. HASSAN says:

SALAMS AND MAY THE PEACE AND MERCY OF ALLAH BE ON YOU, I AM CURRENTLY IN A REBUTTAL WITH THE BERWALIE REGARDING MOULANA ASHRAF TANWEE R.A THAT THEY HAVE A ORIGINAL KITAAB IN WHICH IT IS SAID ALLAH CAN SPEAK A LIE AND THAT THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE PROPHET S.A.W.S KNOWLEDGE IS THAT OF THE LIKE OF MAD MAN, LUNATICS, HOW DO I HANDEL THIS

  19. Igloo says:

Consider Allah’s statement where he commands the Messenger (PBUH) (paraphrased): “Say if it is true that Isa son of Maryam is the son of Allah, then I am the first of the believers, but it is a lie…”

Perhaps you could begin by saying that if what they say is true, and that it is really the writing of the Maulana, that you deplore the statements he made. But that , in the absence of clear proof, you consider the claims to be slander and Allah knows best.

If no Deobandi today believes the things they are attributing to the Maulana, then what is the point of the debate? A prolonged debate with someone who has already made up their mind serves no good purpose in my view

    Allah knows best.

  20. SeekerOfHaq says:

    Salaams
Please show the decline of the Barelvi sect in islamic progress

  21. Imran says:

    Assalamu Alaykum,

Are there any new things you are soon to post? Jazakhallah Khair.
