In his Fatawa Afriqa, Alahazrat Ahmad Raza Khan stated that Abd al-Qadir Jilani was present during the ascension of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam). Note that Abd al-Qadir Jilani was born 5 centuries after the Prophet. Did any scholars of the salaf and khalaf had this wicked belief? Another question pops up: if he was present, then why did not the Sahaba and the generations after performed the Ghyarwi gathering?
